Key Responsibilities

• Deliver ethical and empathetic mental health counseling through secure video chat sessions, ensuring a supportive environment for clients.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations of each client’s needs and goals.
• Work collaboratively with clients to develop essential coping strategies, enhance problem-solving skills, and improve communication techniques.
• Document client progress effectively while keeping paperwork to a minimum to allow more time for client interaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on supporting stable, low-acuity adult clients who seek to improve their mental health and face everyday challenges. The therapist will engage with diverse clients, including those dealing with anxiety, mild depression, and life transitions, leveraging therapeutic modalities to foster their growth and resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• A valid and current state license such as LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or PsyD, enabling independent practice without supervision.
• No disciplinary actions against your license and a commitment to maintaining high ethical standards in practice.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, along with proficiency in using technology for virtual therapy sessions.
• A dependable and stable Wi-Fi connection to facilitate uninterrupted client sessions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding the unique cultural contexts that may affect mental health and counseling.
• Familiarity with teletherapy practices and digital counseling platforms.
• Background in creating treatment plans and managing client caseloads effectively with minimal oversight.
