• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate each client's mental health issues, strengths, and personal goals, ensuring an informed foundation for treatment planning.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that reflect individual assessment findings, client aspirations, and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Monitor and document clients' progress through ongoing assessments, progress notes, and therapeutic interventions, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies as required.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care that attends to all aspects of the client's well-being.
• Advocate for clients' rights, facilitating access to necessary mental health services and community resources that enhance their quality of life.
• Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality as mandated by state licensing boards and professional affiliations.

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse clientele who may face various emotional and psychological challenges including mood disorders, anxiety, and interpersonal conflicts. Your ability to adapt therapeutic techniques based on the unique needs of individuals from different backgrounds will be crucial to fostering trust and achieving successful outcomes. You will play an essential role in making strategic connections that allow clients to navigate their struggles and build resilience.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
• A strong foundation in evidence-based treatment methods, particularly related to mood disorders.
• Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on building rapport and trust with an array of clients from diverse backgrounds.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders, providing a depth of knowledge in treatment modalities like CBT and DBT.
• Experience with psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and medical professionals during integrated care approaches.
• A proven history of successful client outcomes and a passion for ongoing professional development aligned with best practices in mental health.

In recognition of your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, based on your experience and qualifications.
