Business Development Consultant

Remote - 1099 Independent Contractor - Commission-Only


ABOUT THE ROLE

We're growing our business development team and looking for driven people to represent us in the government market. You'll reach out to prospective clients, build relationships, and work alongside them to move their projects toward completion. It's a results-based, independent role for people who want to set their own hours.


Open to experienced business development professionals and to motivated newcomers ready to learn the work.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Reach out to prospective clients and introduce what we do.

- Build lasting relationships and serve as each client's main point of contact.

- Understand what each client needs and connect them with the right opportunities.

- Track and manage your opportunities in our platform, keeping each one moving.

- Coordinate the details (teaming, terms, and paperwork) as each opportunity progresses.

- Use good judgment on where to spend your time and keep your pipeline current.


QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and setting your own schedule.

- Organized, with reliable follow-through.

- Government contracting experience is a plus, but not required - we'll train the right person.


COMPENSATION

Commission-only and uncapped. You earn a set percentage of each contract you bring in, paid once the contract is signed and funded.


LOCATION AND TERMS
