Guiding Light Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Virtual Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. This full-time remote position allows mental health professionals to provide quality therapy from the comfort of their homes. This position is 100% remote, providing flexibility and work-life balance to our mental health counselors. Our work setting allows professionals to create their schedules within the framework of standard hours, operating Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The telehealth model not only facilitates therapy delivery but also ensures that counselors can maintain a supportive and effective environment for their clients.

• Conduct individual virtual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatric providers and fellow therapists to create comprehensive care plans for clients.
• Utilize digital assessment tools and client management systems to evaluate treatment effectiveness, monitor client progress, and ensure high-quality care delivery.
• Engage in documentation practices that comply with state regulations and organizational policies, maintaining client confidentiality.
• Participate in weekly consultation sessions and ongoing training to stay up to date on the latest therapeutic practices and clinical guidelines.

The Virtual Mental Health Counselor at Guiding Light Therapy will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma-related issues, and other mental health conditions. Our client-centric approach emphasizes understanding each client's unique background and circumstances to create effective, personalized treatment plans that empower them to achieve their mental health goals.

• Must hold a valid license as an LMFT, LCMHC, or LCSW in the state of Florida.
• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work is required.
• At least one year of post-independent licensure experience is mandatory; two or more years of direct counseling experience is strongly preferred.

• Proven experience in providing CBT and familiarity with other therapeutic approaches are highly regarded.
• Background in working with clients from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, demonstrating sensitivity and adaptability.
• Strong technical skills and comfort with digital tools used for teletherapy, including telehealth platforms and virtual communication technologies.

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
