Home Improvement & Construction Industry

We are a growing home improvement and construction company specializing in kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, room additions, roofing, and full residential renovations throughout South Florida. We are seeking a highly organized and motivated HR / Recruiting & Vendor Coordinator to support our continued growth.

This position combines recruiting, human resources support, subcontractor sourcing, vendor relations, and pricing analysis. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, detail-oriented, and capable of building strong relationships with employees, subcontractors, suppliers, and industry partners.

Responsibilities

Recruiting & Human Resources

  • Source, recruit, and onboard employees for office, sales, production, and field positions.
  • Manage job postings through Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Craigslist, social media, and other recruiting platforms.
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate the hiring process.
  • Maintain applicant tracking and employee records.
  • Assist management with workforce planning and staffing needs.

Subcontractor & Vendor Development

  • Identify and recruit qualified subcontractors for construction and remodeling projects.
  • Source new vendors and suppliers for materials and services.
  • Verify licenses, insurance certificates, and qualifications.
  • Obtain and compare pricing proposals from vendors and subcontractors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry professionals and suppliers.
  • Assist management in negotiating favorable pricing and service agreements.

Administrative Support

  • Maintain organized databases of vendors, subcontractors, and applicants.
  • Track pricing, proposals, contracts, and vendor documentation.
  • Support management with special projects and operational initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in recruiting, human resources, staffing, vendor management, or procurement preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, or similar recruiting platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Experience in construction, home improvement, or related industries is highly desirable.
