The Technician III, Facilities Maintenance, is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural components. This role manages projects by coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules. The position involves relocating and remodeling office spaces, collaborating with various teams, and maintaining compliance with safety and company policies. The Technician III supports continuous improvement efforts, fosters effective communication, and contributes to a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment aligned with organizational standards.

The team supports Commercial Real Estate operations by performing skilled maintenance, remodeling, and ensuring safety compliance. Members collaborate with various trades to maintain workspaces that meet operational requirements, following established safety standards. Emphasizing clear communication, accountability, and continuous improvement, the team fosters an organized and efficient environment. Applying technical expertise and ethical conduct, members contribute to project success and uphold professional standards. This team plays a vital role in delivering reliable facility solutions that support overall business objectives and maintain safe, functional, and well-maintained work environments.
What you'll do:
  • Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on doors, flooring, interior and exterior structures, and HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Manage projects by coordinating internal and external resources, monitoring progress, mitigating delays, and adhering to budgets.
  • Relocate and remodel office layouts, including setting up and dismantling furniture and fixtures for work orders and special events.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements by conducting risk assessments and providing safety instruction.
  • Collaborate with team members and business partners to develop and implement processes that meet business needs.
  • Lead and support teams by coordinating assignments, providing feedback, and promoting quality and timeliness.

What you'll bring:
  • Proven experience in facility repair and maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems.
  • Ability to conduct preventative maintenance and perform minor repairs on various building components.
  • Skilled in coordinating and managing projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Knowledge of Lock Out / Tag Out procedures and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external contractors.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspect completed work and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
