Job description

Remodeling Helper/Apprentice

Rejuvenate Renovations — Austin, TX

The Job

We renovate bathrooms and homes. We need a helper who can work every stage of a remodel — demo, framing, drywall, tile, paint, trim, finish work. You'll work alongside our lead carpenter and learn the trade on real jobs, not just fetch materials.

What You'll Do
  • Handle all phases of bathroom and home remodels: demo, framing, drywall, paint, trim, and finish carpentry.

  • Prep and protect job sites. Haul and stage material. Keep the site clean.

  • Read basic plans and follow instructions from the lead on each job.

  • Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.

  • Load and unload the truck. Help with site setup and breakdown.

  • Learn tile setting and finish drywall work on the job.

Bonus Skills (Pay Bump If You Have These)
  • Drywall hanging and finishing (taping, mudding, sanding)

  • Tile setting (floors, showers, backsplash)

What We Need From You
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

  • Physically able to lift 75+ lbs, stand, kneel, and work on your feet all day.

  • Show up on time, every day. This is the biggest thing we're hiring for.

  • Basic tool knowledge. We'll teach the rest.

  • Willing to learn and take direction.

Nice to Have, Not Required
  • Prior construction or remodeling experience.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).

Pay & Schedule
  • Pay is via Direct Deposit every two weeks

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday, Austin/Central Texas job sites.

  • Pay increases as skills develop.
