Job description

Now Hiring: Lockbox Processing Associate
Location- North Brunswick, NJ
Pay Rate- $19-$21 per hour
Full Time- 40 hours a week
Zing is seeking a Lockbox Processing Associate to join a fast-paced production team responsible for processing incoming customer payments. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in finance, accounting, banking operations, or payment processing.
What You'll Do
  • Sort, open, and organize incoming mail
  • Scan payment documents using high-speed OPEX scanners
  • Perform basic data entry of payment information
  • Prepare processed remittance for client and bank delivery
  • Follow secure processing procedures and quality standards
  • Cross-train in other operational areas as needed
What We're Looking For
Required:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6+ months of experience in payment processing, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, billing, document processing, or other finance/accounting-related administrative work OR education in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Preferred:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • Experience with 10-key data entry
  • Experience in lockbox operations, mail processing, document imaging, AP/AR, or payment processing
  • Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant environments
