Professionals in this role configure, customize, and maintain the Remedy platform to support business processes. Responsibilities may include incident management, change management, and workflow automation. Organizations use Remedy to streamline IT operations and improve service delivery.

To thrive in a Remedy role—typically a Remedy Administrator or Remedy Developer—you need a strong background in IT service management, knowledge of the BMC Remedy platform, and experience in troubleshooting and process automation. Hands-on familiarity with BMC Remedy ITSM Suite, workflow design, ITIL certification, and scripting languages like AR System or JavaScript are often required. These skills are vital for ensuring seamless IT operations and optimizing business process efficiency within organizations.

Remedy Administrators and Developers often encounter challenges such as managing complex workflows, maintaining system performance, and addressing integration issues with other IT platforms.
