Role: Fileshare Access Remediation Manager
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: Fulltime

Position Overview:
The Fileshare Access Remediation Manager will lead an international team focused on remediating folders that contain sensitive information. The position requires an experienced Security Manager with a background in remediation, the Varonis data security platform, data security concepts and active directory file-level permissions. A history of strong security operations achievements and an ability to manage projects through conclusion is essential.
The individual will work with business and technical stakeholders across the enterprise requiring strong communication and writing skills and an ability to plan, lead and manage on-site, virtual and phone calls and meetings in multiple time zones. The incumbent will lead a team of offshore vulnerability remediation analysts providing oversight, guidance and direction in order to manage remediation tasks and track them to completion. The individual will help define the remediation process, assign remediation tasks, and manage the completion of those tasks.
Qualifications:
At least 10 years working on Cybersecurity projects with a focus on Security Operations, Vulnerability Remediation and Asset Management.
5-7 years Info Security experience supporting enterprise programs.
Strong knowledge of Varonis and using it to manage the remediation of folders to enhance data security.
Consulting and project management experience demonstrating ability to effectively communicate with client and deliver quality deliverables.
Has experience working with one of the Asset Management platforms like ServiceNow, HP Asset Manager, Candor etc.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and to be the main client project contact.
Candidate must be located in Dallas FT Worth (DFW) area.
o Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
o IT and Security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, ITIL) is a plus.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role are:
Perform data analysis deliverables from the Varonis tool
Single point of contact for the Fileshare Remediation Program
Identify, validate and document the access remediation process for identified folders
Communicate and train remediation team on the process
Manage and track performance
Provide weekly status reports
Manage offshore team
Coordination with client project management
