Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop tailored therapeutic strategies for clients, ensuring personalized care.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions, supporting a broad spectrum of mental health concerns.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, adapting techniques to meet client-specific needs.
• Document and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and the integrity of client information.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of services, contributing to integrated treatment planning.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to remain at the forefront of mental health advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC with Remark Recovery, you will work primarily with individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our clientele may have limited access to traditional mental health resources, making your role crucial in providing them with the support and guidance they need to improve their mental health and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling capacity, preferably within clinical settings.
• Understanding of legal and ethical standards pertaining to counseling practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster meaningful connections with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare team.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and related technologies is crucial.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization or additional training in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is highly desirable.
