Job Overview: The Business Analyst II role is a mid-level position for professionals who can independently lead requirements gathering, manage small to medium-sized projects, and support enterprise systems across departments. This role requires deeper expertise in business analysis and the automotive remanufacturing industry, along with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills. Business Analysts at this level are expected to work with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, facilitate workshops, and contribute to software Quality Assurance (QA) and reporting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, processes, and pain points. This would involve conducting workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to gather detailed requirements.
  • System Configuration: Technical knowledge of Infor Syteline ERP specifically Order-to-Cash, Planning and Manufacturing, the position involves configuration and customization of the system aligned with the business processes. This would include setting up modules, defining workflows, and configuring user roles and permissions.
  • Customization: Knowledge of MS SQL and.NET is necessary for enhancing Syteline functionalities through customization to tailor the system to the business needs. This could involve writing scripts, designing new User Interfaces (UI), creating custom reports, or developing new functionalities.
  • Integration: Provide integration support for various software applications that are currently in place with Syteline. Knowledge of Syteline integration with Salesforce would be ideal. The role would involve designing and implementing these integrations to ensure seamless data flows between systems.
  • Testing and Development: Support deployment of any changes to the production environment after thorough testing to ensure the functionalities capture the business requirements.
  • Training and Support: Provide training to end-users to ensure they can effectively use the system. Additionally, there is the responsibility for ongoing support to address any questions, issues, or enhancement requests that arise post-implementation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead requirements gathering efforts for small to medium-sized projects across multiple departments
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, process gaps, and technology opportunities
  • Manage deliverables, and stakeholder communications for assigned initiatives
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to define and document business requirements
  • Support and optimize business applications, including ERP, CRM, and other enterprise platforms through configuration, documentation, incident management, and user support
  • Analyze data and processes to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
  • Participate in software QA activities, including test planning, execution, and validation
  • Create reports and dashboards to support decision-making and performance tracking
  • Provide training through a train-the-trainer model and ongoing support to end-users across departments
  • Maintain documentation of configurations, workflows, and integrations
  • Apply industry knowledge, especially in automotive remanufacturing, to deliver relevant and effective solutions
  • Foster collaboration and alignment across business and technical teams while embracing ETE Reman's Core Values

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field or relevant experience
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in business analysis or related roles
  • Proven ability to manage small to medium-sized projects and lead cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong understanding of ERP and CRM systems and their role in business operations
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements across multiple departments
  • Experience with software QA practices and the software development lifecycle
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication and facilitation skills for engaging stakeholders and driving alignment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the automotive remanufacturing industry or similar manufacturing environments

Preferred:
  • Experience with platforms such as Infor Syteline, Salesforce, or other ERP/CRM systems
  • Proficiency in SQL for reporting or system customization
  • Experience with system integration projects and dataflow documentation
  • Advanced reporting skills using Power BI or similar tools
  • Knowledge of master data management/governance
  • Basic proficiency in Artificial Intelligences/ Machine Learning Concepts and EDI Concepts
