Spanish-Bilingual Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal
Makkabi Law Group, APC — Beverly Hills, CA | Full-Time | In-Person

About the Role

Makkabi Law Group is a Beverly Hills personal injury and wrongful death firm with a track record of more than $300 million in settlements and judgments. We are hiring a bilingual (English/Spanish) paralegal to support our litigation team on catastrophic and serious injury matters, from intake through trial.

What You'll Do

Case and Discovery Support

  • Draft and respond to discovery: interrogatories, requests for admission, requests for production, and subpoenas, under attorney supervision
  • Draft routine litigation correspondence, meet-and-confer letters, and case status communications
  • Investigate and compile factual information in response to discovery requests
  • Perform legal research to support attorney case strategy

Case Management

  • Organize, maintain, and manage case files and litigation calendars
  • Review, summarize, and index medical records, billing, and expert reports
  • Coordinate with medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel on scheduling and document exchange

Trial Support

  • Prepare trial binders and coordinate trial exhibits
  • Assist attorneys with witness outlines and pre-trial logistics
  • Attend trial as needed to support the litigation team

Client Communication

  • Communicate directly with Spanish-speaking clients on case status and document requests
  • Assist with translation and dictation as needed

Requirements

  • Paralegal certificate (required, per California Business & Professions Code § 6450)
  • Minimum 1 year personal injury litigation experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish, required
  • Typing speed of 50+ WPM
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
