The specifics of what's included can vary widely depending on the company, position, and distance of the move. What is a relocation package?

A relocation package is a set of financial incentives and assistance for a new or existing employee who is being transferred from one office to another location. For example, if you work in a technical field such as software engineering or data science, an employer may pay you to move from one city to another to work as part of a different team. The specifics can vary widely depending on the company's policies, the level of the position, and the distance of the move, so it's important to clarify what is included before accepting an offer.
