This package may cover expenses such as moving costs, temporary housing, and travel allowances. Dental practices or organizations provide these packages to attract qualified dental assistants from other regions or to fill positions in areas with staffing shortages. Relocation packages can vary widely depending on the employer and the distance of the move. If you are considering such a position, it's important to clarify what specific benefits are included in the relocation package.

To thrive as a Relocation Package Dental Assistant, you need a solid understanding of dental procedures, infection control, and dental terminology, generally supported by completion of a dental assisting program and relevant certification such as DANB (where required). Familiarity with dental software, digital radiography, and office management systems is highly beneficial. Outstanding communication, adaptability, and organizational skills help you support both patients and dental teams, especially when transitioning to a new location.
