About Struction Solutions
Struction Solutions is a national provider of claims management, insurance adjusting, inspection services, damage assessments, and staffing solutions. We are expanding our liability claims operations and seeking a highly experienced, credible, and professional Liability Claims Adjuster to manage liability investigations and claims throughout Maryland and Delaware.
This position requires an adjuster capable of independently handling claims from assignment through resolution while maintaining exceptional customer service and technical claim handling standards.
Territory: Maryland & Delaware (Statewide Coverage Required)
Position Summary
The Senior Liability Claims Adjuster will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve liability claims involving bodily injury, property damage, general liability, premises liability, commercial liability, transportation losses, and related exposures.
The ideal candidate possesses strong investigative skills, excellent judgment, extensive carrier or TPA experience, and the ability to represent clients professionally in the field.
Responsibilities
  • Investigate and manage liability claims from first notice through resolution.
  • Conduct recorded statements and witness interviews.
  • Perform scene inspections and liability investigations.
  • Analyze coverage, liability, causation, and damages.
  • Review police reports, medical records, expert reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations.
  • Negotiate settlements within authority guidelines.
  • Maintain regular communication with carriers, attorneys, insureds, claimants, and third parties.
  • Attend mediations, settlement conferences, and claim reviews when required.
  • Maintain compliance with carrier and client service standards.
  • Travel throughout Maryland and Delaware as needed.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 7+ years of liability claims handling experience.
  • Demonstrated experience handling bodily injury and general liability claims.
  • Strong investigative and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to independently manage a full claim inventory.
  • Experience with carrier, independent adjusting firm, TPA, or self-insured programs.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout Maryland and Delaware.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Active Maryland Adjuster License (if applicable).
  • Delaware claims handling experience.
  • Multi-state adjusting licenses.
  • Litigation management experience.
  • Transportation, commercial auto, premises liability, or municipal liability experience.
  • Prior experience working with independent adjusting firms.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Military or Veteran background encouraged.
