Palliative Medicine Physician in beautiful Charleston, SC Roper St. Francis Healthcare is seeking a physician to join our interdisciplinary team to provide Palliative Medicine consultations to patients within our four hospitals and home palliative program and supportive care outpatient clinic. This position also provides support and collaboration with the RSFH Home Hospice program.

Join a growing successful program (including 3 physicians, 3 nurse practitioners, 2 social workers, and 2 outpatient Nurse Practitioners) who provide palliative/supportive care as a consultative service in the inpatient acute care setting Actively identify opportunities to improve the patient and family care experience Improve the effectiveness of resources as used in management of symptoms, end-of- life care, and complex chronic medical and social issues Full-time position with on-call responsibilities (shared call with 4 providers) Teaching opportunities with Palliative Medicine Fellowship and nursing students. Desired Candidates will have: Experience in Palliative Medicine, BC or BE, Fellowship trained in Palliative Medicine Excellent communication skills and be able to assess, evaluate, plan and implement care in complex and life limiting situations. RSFH is private not-for-profit; PSLF-qualified.
