Job description

Northern Lights Rehab and Long Term Care is hiring a Director of Nursing in Minot, ND. Relocation assistance available for the right candidate.

You'll lead the nursing department: staffing, clinical quality, and survey readiness. Hands-on role with a team that counts on you.

What you'll do:

  • Hire, schedule, coach, and retain nursing staff

  • Own clinical quality, QAPI, and infection control

  • Keep nursing survey-ready under CMS and ND regulations

  • Partner with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team on resident care

  • Manage nursing budget, supplies, and agency usage

What we're looking for:

  • Active RN license in North Dakota or compact eligible

  • Prior DON or ADON experience in skilled nursing or long term care

  • Working knowledge of MDS, QAPI, and the survey process

  • Steady under pressure and good with people
