What You’ll Do
As the Project Manager, you will play a vital leadership role in ensuring each project is executed safely, efficiently, and within scope, all while maintaining alignment with client and internal expectations.
  • Lead the planning, scheduling, and management of construction projects from pre-construction to closeout
  • Interpret project documents including plans, specifications, bid packages, and soils reports to validate deliverables and risk areas
  • Develop detailed project budgets and cost forecasts, identifying value engineering or cost-saving opportunities
  • Prepare and manage purchase orders, subcontract agreements, and procurement documentation
  • Conduct and lead pre-construction meetings and ongoing site meetings to ensure clarity and alignment among stakeholders
  • Provide leadership and direction to superintendents, engineers, and field crews to maintain production and safety standards
  • Review project deliverables, RFIs, submittals, and change orders with precision and timeliness
  • Track budgets, timelines, and production reports through detailed data analysis and field feedback
  • Partner with accounting and administration teams on progress billings and cost-to-complete reporting
  • Support company compliance with safety, environmental, and contractual standards on every project
  • Oversee project closeout activities including final documentation, warranty letters, and as-built records

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience managing infrastructure, utility, or heavy civil construction projects
  • Deep understanding of project controls, scheduling, cost forecasting, and resource planning
  • Skilled in Primavera P6, HCSS Heavy Jobs, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite
  • Strong negotiation, documentation, and coordination experience across vendors and subcontractors
  • Effective communicator with proven ability to manage client expectations and technical details with equal fluency
  • Experience in public works and private development strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field ideal
  • To be considered for this role, candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the designated work location, as regular onsite attendance may be required.
