Job description

The Wholesale Associate will process and manage Numismatic inventory in support of Numismatic buyers.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Receive shipments of numismatic items, verify quantities, inspect for quality, and ensure accuracy against purchase orders/invoices.
  • Using proprietary software to process and manage inventory which may include but not limited to purchase orders, invoices, transfers, and grading.
  • Organize inventory within the warehouse or storage facility to optimize space utilization and facilitate efficient retrieval. Implement systematic labeling or shelving systems to ensure easy identification and access to items.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including quantities on hand, items sold, and items in transit. Monitor stock levels to anticipate demand and identify potential shortages or excesses.
  • Fulfill wholesale orders by picking items from inventory according to customer specifications. Prepare items for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and documentation for delivery.
  • Regularly reconcile physical inventory counts with recorded inventory levels to identify discrepancies or losses. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies through thorough auditing and investigation.
  • Communicate with suppliers or vendors to coordinate inventory purchases, resolve issues with shipments, and negotiate pricing or terms.
  • Provide support to sales or customer service teams by addressing inquiries related to inventory availability, pricing, or product specifications.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in sales, marketing, finance, and other departments to achieve company objectives and deliver exceptional service to customers.

Required Skills/Proficiencies:

  • Attention to detail and Time management.
  • Computer programs: Office 365, Word, Excel, Internet Navigation, Internal System Navigation and Word Processing.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate seamlessly within all employees and customers.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
