Job description

Nurse Manager

An outstanding rural community hospital outside Fort Morgan, Colorado, is seeking a Nurse Manager for a Long-term Care setting.

Offering: $73,800 - $93,600/annually + Sign-On and Relocation Assistance + up to 6 months of free housing

Nurse Manager Opportunity:

  • Full-Time, Permanent, Direct hire
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift
  • Report to the Assisted Living Administrator and Director of Nursing
  • Offers a comprehensive and robust benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision, as well as FSA/HSA and education assistance

Nurse Manager Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest standards and quality of patient care are maintained, often by enforcing evidence-based practices and nursing standards
  • Serving as a crucial communication link between the bedside nursing staff and upper hospital administration/leadership
  • Addressing and resolving escalated issues, complaints, or concerns from patients and their families

Nurse Manager Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher from an accredited nursing program
  • 5+ years of Long-term care nursing experience
  • Must have or be eligible to obtain BLS upon hire
  • Previous experience in Supervision/Management is required
