Job description

Description:

 We are seeking a dependable and experienced Seasonal Truck Driver to join the 7 Oaks Farms team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods on both day and night routes while ensuring timely deliveries, cargo security, and compliance with all transportation regulations. This seasonal position is ideal for individuals looking to contribute during peak operational periods. Strong communication skills, reliability, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. 

Requirements:
  • Operate company trucks to transport goods on designated seasonal routes.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with supervisors, as well as receiving and shipping departments.
  • Adhere to all applicable traffic laws, truck driving rules, and company safety policies.
  • Secure, arrange, and balance cargo to prevent damage and ensure safe transport.
  • Inspect vehicles before and after trips; report mechanical issues, defects, accidents, and violations promptly.
  • Plan routes efficiently to meet strict seasonal delivery schedules.
  • Perform basic truck maintenance, including refueling, cleaning, and safety inspections.
  • Fuel the truck as needed to ensure readiness for scheduled routes.
  • Verify load accuracy and document deliveries.

Qualifications:

  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
