Company Description Children’s Cancer Network is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children and families impacted by pediatric cancer. Based in Arizona, the organization focuses on providing programs, resources, and guidance that address emotional, educational, and practical needs throughout the cancer journey. Team members collaborate closely with families, healthcare providers, and community partners to deliver compassionate, impactful services. Role Description The Program Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Tempe, AZ, responsible for coordinating and delivering Children’s Cancer Network programs and services. This role manages daily program operations related to specific programs including CCN's Food Pantry. Assessment of need, planning and preparing, implementing and evaluating programs are each key components to the successful execution of each program. The Program Specialist engages directly with families, answering questions, providing information about available resources, and supporting a welcoming, inclusive environment. The position also involves collaborating with staff and volunteers, assisting with training, gathering and analyzing program data, and preparing reports to support continuous improvement. The Program Specialist may help with outreach events, communication materials, and other tasks that strengthen program visibility and impact.

  • Candidates should possess program management skills, including assessment of need, organizing activities, coordinating logistics, planning, implementing and evaluating while overseeing multiple projects or initiatives.
