Job Summary:

Support the Scorpius Accelerator by developing reliability strategies that maximize equipment performance and minimize operational risk. You will evaluate failure modes, improve maintenance programs, and work with cross functional teams to ensure critical assets remain safe, reliable, and available.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop reliability centered maintenance strategies.
  • Perform failure analysis and root cause investigations.
  • Conduct equipment risk assessments.
  • Improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Monitor asset health and recommend corrective actions.
  • Partner with work management and engineering teams.
  • Support reliability metrics and reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant engineering or industrial experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing, processing plants, utilities, industrial facilities, metallurgy, or similar environments.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong communication and cross functional collaboration skills.
  • United States citizenship is required for this role.
  • All new hires must pass a federal background check and federal drug test.
  • An ability to work hybrid onsite in Mercury, NV on the National Nuclear Test Site.

Preferred Experience:

  • DOE, NNSA, LANL, LLNL, or NNSS experience preferred.
  • Active DOE clearance preferred but not required.

Travel: Occasional travel is expected to support project meetings and coordination with partner sites.

Compensation & Benefits:

The expected base salary range for this role is $130,000 - $165,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.

This role is also eligible for performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive U.S. based benefits package, including:
