A pioneer of the quick-casual format, Zaxby’s provides services and amenities that fall somewhere between fast food and a sit-down restaurant. With over 900 locations in 18 states throughout the Southeast, Zaxby's is a beloved brand known for its superior food and friendly service.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a sanitized and well-organized kitchen
  • Preparing workstations for cooking
  • Checking the quality of the ingredients
  • Managing food storage, stock, and ingredient orders
  • Lifting a minimum of 50lbs. overhead
  • Assembling menu items
  • Prepping all food items
  • Packaging the menu items
  • Portion control
  • Proper holding and storage of all food items
  • Taking out the trash
  • Assisting in front-of-house operations as necessary
  • Unpacking and storing incoming inventory orders
  • Reporting to management when equipment is malfunctioning
  • Cleaning the kitchen and storage areas
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a cook
  • Skilled in operating kitchen equipment
  • Skilled in various cooking techniques
  • Knowledge of and adherence to sanitation procedures
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Great organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and act quickly
  • High school diploma or equivalent
