Job description

What You'll Do

As an Advisor Relationship Associate, you will be responsible for providing fundamental services and support to financial professionals in order to acquire new business and serve, grow and retain existing retirement business. Alongside Advisor Care teammates, serve as a key point of contact to financial professionals and their support staff. Coordinate with other service teams across RIS.

  • Customer Service & Relationship Management: Partner with Advisor Relationship Consultant/Specialist as a key point of contact to the advisor to deliver excellent service. Ensure deliverables are appropriate, complete, and accurate. Take ownership of escalated/time-sensitive service issues. Clear, concise communication is required with both internal and external audiences.
  • Business Operations & Analysis: Coordinate with internal partners & manage investment and fee change process. Create and maintain accurate documentation in Salesforce.
  • Technology & Process Improvement: Leverage technology to improve efficiency and quality. Maintain proficiency in business software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote and other programs. Identify and recommend process improvements. Create case documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Development: Serve as Subject Matter Expert for designated topics. Participate actively in team meetings and knowledge sharing – training initiatives. Support cultural initiatives and demonstrate Core Values.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.

Who You Are
  • Requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience of 2+ years in the retirement industry.
  • Have prior experience working in customer care and or experience working directly with Advisors.
  • Must have strong written / oral communication skills with the ability to interpret needs from business partners and external clients in addition to good organizational skills.
  • Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technology skills required.
  • Must work independently and positively collaborate with an open mind in a team environment, able to work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities and sensitive deadlines.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills required – be resourceful and able to be solution oriented.

Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

$22.93 - $37.96 / hour

  • Des Moines, IA: $24.21 - $29.43 / hr
  • Charlotte, NC: $25.48 - $31.13 / hr

  • Los Angeles/New York City: $30.58 - $37.96 / hr

Time Off Program
Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness.
