About the Role

Kakao Entertainment Global is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented PR Associate to support the execution and coordination of publicity efforts across its multi-label ecosystem. This role sits within a label services PR function, supporting multiple internal labels, artist teams, and global stakeholders, while also helping coordinate work between internal teams and external PR agency partners.

The PR Associate will play a critical operational role in ensuring alignment, consistency, and execution across campaigns, releases, announcements, and media initiatives across the companys portfolio of artists and labels. This position reports to the Director of PR and requires strong organizational discipline, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, matrixed entertainment environment.


Key Responsibilities


Campaign Coordination & Execution Support

  • Support the coordination and execution of PR campaigns across multiple internal labels and artist projects
  • Maintain and update campaign timelines, calendars, trackers, and shared documentation across stakeholders
  • Coordinate deliverables, approvals, assets, and deadlines across internal teams and external agency partners
  • Assist in ensuring consistency of messaging, timing, and execution across all label services PR initiatives
  • Support rollout logistics for releases, announcements, campaigns, and related publicity activities


Internal + External Partner Coordination

  • Act as a coordination point between internal label teams, artist management teams, and external PR agencies
  • Track status updates and ensure alignment across multiple agencies and stakeholders
  • Support communication flow between internal PR leadership and external partners to ensure executional consistency
  • Help maintain clarity across overlapping campaign responsibilities and deliverables


Media & Communications Support

  • Assist with media list building, research, and maintenance across relevant markets and genres
  • Support drafting and formatting of press materials including pitches, press releases, media alerts, and briefing documents
  • Track media coverage across multiple campaigns and compile reports, recaps, and performance summaries
  • Assist with interview scheduling, media coordination, and follow-ups as needed


Operational & Administrative Support

  • Maintain internal PR systems, databases, asset libraries, and reporting structures
  • Organize campaign materials and ensure proper version control across teams and agencies
  • Support meeting coordination, note-taking, and follow-up action tracking
  • Assist with event logistics, credential coordination, and related publicity operations when applicable
  • Provide general operational support across the broader label services PR function as needed


Qualifications & Requirements


Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in PR, publicity, communications, entertainment, music, or media
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, especially in multi-stakeholder environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across competing deadlines
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, matrixed organizational structures
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project tracking tools


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in music, entertainment, label services, or agency environments
  • Familiarity with working alongside external PR agencies or vendors
  • Understanding of K-pop, music industry release cycles, campaign structures, and media ecosystems
  • Experience supporting multi-project or multi-client environments
  • Strong cultural awareness and interest in global music and entertainment trends
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Korean

  • Must be able to work in-office Monday-Thursday in Culver City
