Integrated programs support individuals facing substance use, dual diagnosis, and mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and bipolar disorder. The organization uses evidence-based therapies including DBT, EMDR, trauma-sensitive interventions, peer support groups, and medication-assisted treatment, delivered by a licensed and accredited team. Care is holistic, focusing on emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being, with robust aftercare planning and an alumni program that fosters long-term recovery and connection. The mission is to deliver authentic, personalized care that empowers patients to break free from addiction, manage mental health challenges, and rebuild their lives with balance and purpose.
Role Description The Primary Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Braintree, MA, responsible for providing direct clinical services to adults in addiction and mental health day treatment programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting biopsychosocial assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities. The Primary Therapist collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care, monitor progress, and update treatment and discharge plans. Additional duties include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, participating in case conferences, contributing to aftercare and relapse-prevention planning, and supporting a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and recovery-oriented environment.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated skills in Treatment Planning and Case Management for individuals with complex behavioral health needs.
  • Background in Social Work or related clinical practice, with experience in individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Clinical expertise in Chemical Dependency, including substance use disorders and relapse prevention strategies.
  • Experience working with Dual Diagnosis, integrating mental health and addiction treatment approaches.
  • Relevant licensure or eligibility (e.g., LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent) in Massachusetts.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and trauma-informed care is highly beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and crisis intervention skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Comfort with maintaining timely, accurate clinical documentation and using electronic health record systems.
  • Commitment to person-centered care, cultural humility, and supporting long-term recovery and wellness.
