Job description

Iberia Medical Center(IMC) in New Iberia, LA is looking for team members who will help advance ourvision to be the premier hospital of choice for patients, physicians andemployees. IMC is currently hiring a Rehab Tech,  on a PRN basis, who underthe general supervision of the Director of Rehab Services and the Directsupervision of an attending PT or OT the Rehab Technician 1 assists thetherapists with delivering patient treatment or care. The rehab tech may alsoassist in the outpatient office withclerical duties such as data entry, including patient charges, reception andscheduling.  

EDUCATION

  • minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent. 

PRINCIPLE TASKS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Reception
  • Check patients in and out
  • Assist with treatment of  patients
  • Monitor patients reporting changes totherapist
  • Assist with scheduling of patients
  • Data entry
  • Assist with daily operations ofoutpatient and inpatient rehab services
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness oftreatment areas and equipment
