Position:ย Rehab Project Manager - HUD & Code Complianceย

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Rehab Project Manager to lead residential renovation projects at any given time.ย  This role focuses on rehabilitation, not ground-up construction, and requires strong field leadership, contractor management, and experience navigating permits, inspections, and housing compliance.ย 
Required Experience
  • 5+ years managing residential rehab or renovation projects
  • Experience with multifamily housing (duplex to small apartment buildings)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple active job sites
  • Hands-on experience working with subcontractors in the field
  • Knowledge of permits, inspections, and local building codes
  • Strong budgeting, estimating, and cost tracking skills
What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Manage 10 - 15 rehab projects (ranging from small to large) from scope through completion
  • Develop scopes of work, project budgets, and timelines
  • Solicit bids and hire subcontractors
  • Oversee job sites to ensure quality, safety, and progress
  • Coordinate permits, inspections, and compliance (including HUD where applicable)
  • Track costs, materials, and schedules across multiple projects
  • Work closely with internal team members and external partners
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with HUD-funded or regulated projects
  • Background in affordable housing or nonprofit development
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
