Job description

Travel Cath Lab RN – Tucson, Arizona (13-Week Contract)

  • Location: Tucson, AZ

  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks

  • Shift: 4x10s, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm

  • Hours: 36 guaranteed per week

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Travel Cath Lab RN to join a leading cardiovascular team in Tucson, AZ. This contract is ideal for nurses who thrive in high-acuity environments and want to expand their expertise while enjoying all the beauty and adventure southern Arizona has to offer.

Responsibilities
  • Circulate and monitor during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

  • Provide care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology (EP), and interventional radiology (IR).

  • Assist with high-risk procedures including STEMI cases and use of specialized equipment (Impella, IABP, Anari).

  • Maintain a sterile field and uphold best practices for patient safety and infection control.

  • Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the care team to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Requirements
  • Licensure/Certifications: Active RN license, ACLS & BLS required.

  • Experience: At least 3 years of Cath Lab experience strongly preferred (will consider less with strong background).

  • Skills: Circulating, monitoring, and familiarity with high-risk equipment (Impella, IABP, Anari).

  • Preferred Experience: Electrophysiology, IR, and prior travel assignments.
