Job description

Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the Radiology team.

Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is a registered professional who provides health care related imaging services to patients of a broad range of ages through the use of radiopharmaceutical scans of different parts of the body. These scans assist the Radiologist in the diagnosis of disease processes. The duties are performed within the framework of Sampson Regional Medical Center policies and procedures and current professional standards. The Technologist may assist in diagnostic radiology when needed.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Training program required
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program preferred
  • ARRT Certification in Nuclear Medicine (N) required
  • Registered and eligible with Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board required
  • General knowledge of other imaging modalities preferred
  • Skilled at performing IV
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively
Hours

This is a PRN position. Hours will be based on the need of the department.
