Job description

Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) โ€“ Neurovascular / Moderate Sedation
Location: New York
Pay: $2,400 โ€“ $2,700 per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks (option to extend)

Schedule:
Day shifts
10 or 12-hour shifts
On-call required for nights and weekends


Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse with moderate sedation experience to support a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center. This role involves caring for a wide variety of surgical patients across multiple specialties in a fast-paced OR environment, including neurovascular procedures.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care in the operating room across multiple surgical specialties

  • Administer and monitor moderate sedation

  • Assist in surgical procedures and maintain sterile environment

  • Monitor patient status throughout perioperative care

  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

  • Respond to emergency situations and trauma cases as needed
