Job description

Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: Hendersonville, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: M-F, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM with on-call rotation after hours.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in the Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will perform various imaging procedures and support interventional radiology and catheterization lab operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing interventional procedures including left heart angiograms, percutaneous coronary interventions, pacemaker implants, ports, drains, and AAA procedures.
  • Providing exceptional patient care and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals including scrub RT, circulating RN, and recording RT/RN during procedures.
  • Documenting procedures in the Merge documentation system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

  • A minimum of 1 year of cath lab experience is required.
  • Certification in AART or RCIS is mandatory.
  • Experience in interventional radiology and electrophysiology is a bonus.
