This 794-bed Magnet-designated teaching hospital located about 45 minutes from Chicago is one of the largest and busiest surgical centers in the region.

Weekend OR Hours

  • 07:00 - 17:00

The OR operates 24/7, 365 days a year.


Weekend Rotation
  • Every 4th weekend (Saturday & Sunday)


On-Call Requirements
  • Depends on service line and shift

  • 30-minute response time

  • Sleep room available for on-call staff


Schedule Release
  • 6-week schedule cycles

  • Shared 2-4 weeks in advance

  • No self-scheduling (assigned by rotation)


Time Off
  • All RTO requests must be submitted via email to the manager.
