Vascular Specialists is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our growing Office-Based Laboratory (OBL) in Tinley Park, Illinois. Our practice specializes in advanced vascular and endovascular procedures delivered in a state-of-the-art outpatient setting focused on exceptional patient care, safety, and outcomes.

Position Summary

The OBL Registered Nurse plays a critical role in patient care throughout the procedural experience, including pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedural support, recovery, and discharge. This position works closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient admissions, assessments, recoveries, and discharges.
  • Administer and monitor conscious sedation.
  • Circulate and document during vascular and endovascular procedures.
  • Maintain sterile technique and procedural safety standards.
  • Provide patient education before and after procedures.
  • Conduct post-procedure follow-up and wellness calls.
  • Assist with medication management, prescription refills, and patient triage.
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

  • AV fistula and graft procedures

Requirements

QualificationsRequired
  • Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS certification
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
Preferred
  • Cath Lab experience
  • Interventional Radiology experience
  • ICU, PACU, or procedural nursing experience
  • ACLS certification
  • Experience administering conscious sedation
Schedule

Full-Time Monday - Friday Typical hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Hours may vary slightly based on patient schedule and procedural volume.
