Job description

Job Summary:

  • RN will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for the critically ill medical and surgical patient population undergoing invasive procedures under the modalities of Fluoroscopy and general Xray.
  • RN will be able to assist with invasive procedures in the specialties of Interventional Radiology, Endovascular Surgery and Neurosurgical interventional, utilizing aseptic techniques per AORN guidelines.
  • Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the Interventional Radiology patient population served and their families.
  • Candidate will develop and maintain all required competencies related to the care and management of the Interventional Radiology patient population.
  • Candidate must be able to function within an integrated Health Care System to provide responsible, professional critical care nursing care.
  • Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Registered Nurse, Interventional Radiology or Cath lab experience.
  • Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
Required Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • BLS & ACLS certification.
