• Manage patient appointments effectively, ensuring timeliness and patient satisfaction.

• Assist physicians during patient examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries, demonstrating proficiency with medical equipment and maintaining a sterile environment.

• Collect specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring meticulous labeling and adherence to protocol for accuracy.

• Administer medications, including injections, under direct supervision, prioritizing safety and proper dosage.

• Conduct routine laboratory tests such as blood glucose monitoring and electrocardiograms (EKGs), interpreting and documenting results systematically.

• Educate patients on their medications, procedures, and general health guidelines, reinforcing understanding and engagement in their care.

• Measure patients' vital signs, record height and weight, and ensure meticulous documentation of all patient data for quality assurance.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization within examination rooms and ensure medical supplies are stocked adequately to meet clinic needs.

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and contribute to comprehensive treatment strategies.

The Medical Assistant will work with a diverse clientele, including families, children, and individuals with varying healthcare needs.
