Investment Management Associate

Who We’re Looking For

HPO is seeking a motivated professional who wants to grow their career with a proven leader in the investment business. We are a team of high performers looking for the right person to bolster our growth through new client development and portfolio management. Previous experience at firms such as Merrill Lynch, UBS, JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, Edward Jones, Northwestern Mutual, Fisher Investments, and others would be helpful. If you are ambitious and can close big business, we may be a fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting for new clients and setting appointments
  • Onboarding new clients
  • Acting as the frontline client liaison
  • Performing additional investment-related activities as needed

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the investment industry
  • Appropriate licenses and certifications (Series 7, Series 65, or the ability to obtain the Series 7 within six months)
  • Ability to work in person at our Corpus Christi office five days a week
  • Excellent people skills
  • Track record of success as a team player
  • Self starter
