MLR is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client's Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) near Novice, TX!
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct, patient-focused care in the IMCU, including assessing, planning, and implementing personalized nursing care strategies.
  • Administer prescribed medications, therapies, and treatments, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and effective patient care.
  • Operate advanced medical equipment, such as ventilators and cardiac monitors.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all patient care activities, ensuring detailed and precise patient records.
  • Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatment plans, and necessary follow-up care.
  • Adhere to healthcare standards and protocols, maintaining a safe and regulated care environment.
Qualifications:
  • Active RN license in Texas.
  • Graduate of an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's Nursing program.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Prior experience in an IMCU or similar critical care setting is highly preferred.
