The Role

The Regional Vice President of Sales is responsible for leading a team of sales professionals and directing the team’s focus, setting goals, providing data analysis, motivating, resolving conflicts, to delivering quarterly revenue bookings and margin quota. To ensure meeting revenue and margin targets, the Regional Vice President of Sales will develop sales strategies, sales, and marketing campaigns, monitor pipeline and opportunity development, and revenue/margin bookings across various national clients. The Regional Vice President of Sales will combine a deep understanding of sales methodologies, industry best practices, and buying patterns to mentor and guide a team of Sales Account Managers to drive business and IT transformation initiatives that meet our current and net new customers objectives. In this role, the Regional Vice President of Sales will mentor Account Managers, collaborate with manufacturer and distribution partners, customer business and technology leaders, and stakeholders to understand strategic business initiatives and develop proposal solutions that satisfy those needs. This individual has extensive knowledge of sales methodology within manufacturer channel distribution, is forward-thinking, and is well-versed in emerging technologies and trends. Must possess the excellent interpersonal skills necessary to articulate and mentor the value of excellent sales activities, be highly organized, and be passionate about operational efficiency critical for our internal business and stakeholders.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborating with internal leadership to establish and execute a sales goal for the North Carolina Region
  • Managing a sales team in order to maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed corporate set goals
  • Assisting sales personnel in their sales techniques
  • Developing specific plans with Sales and Marketing to ensure growth in both short and long term
  • Forecasting annual, quarterly, and monthly sales goals
  • Educating sales with presentations or strategies, seminars, and regular meetings
  • Reviewing regional expenses and recommending improvements
  • Resolve internal conflicts and customer satisfaction issues
  • Strong situational analysis and decision‑making abilities.
  • Ability to tailor communications to the C‑suite level.

Travel
Travel is occasionally required for this position. Must have a valid driver’s license and motor vehicle insurance.
