Mid-western Regional Sales Representative

Location Mid-western Region of North America

Job Requirements Full-time

Travel 60 % Domestic and/or international travel required

Position Mid-west Software Sales Representative

Education High School/Trade School/College degree preferred

Experience Minimum of 5 years specific or related industry sales experience

Compensation Base salary plus commission and full benefits

Other Responsible self-starter, work with team in a small company environment

Summary

Master Distributor of a global leading data and analysis software covering North and South America is looking for a Mid-west Coast Regional Sales Manager to increase sales and market share of existing and new clients in the mid-western part of the US and Canada. Candidates need to have experience in direct software sales while also developing new business and strategic opportunities. This position will require the candidate to gain an understating of data collection and analysis processes from both the field and office environments. Candidates must be able to work independently to achieve company sales goals. The candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced small company environment where teamwork and initiative are paramount for overall company success.

Key Skill Set Requirements

  • Self-starter with motivation to develop the western territory

  • Conduct on-site and web demonstrations of the software

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong experience in account management

  • Ability to work within company CRM and follow standard operating procedures.

  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks

  • Excellent prospecting skills

  • Understanding of municipal and contractor account sales

  • Understanding of network setups and functionality

  • Must be proficient with Windows operating systems

  • Some experience with Arc ESRI GIS and other Asset Management based platforms
    preferred
