Job Summary 

Abrazo Central Campus is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Interventional Radiology (IR) team on a full-time, day shift schedule. This role provides professional, compassionate, and efficient nursing care within our IR procedural department. The RN will deliver age-specific, individualized care based on the procedure type and patient condition, while continuously evaluating nursing practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes. 

  • Deliver direct nursing care during IR procedures with a focus on patient safety and procedural success. 
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive, quality care. 
  • Adhere to hospital and departmental safety guidelines and best practices. 
  • Document accurately and effectively in the electronic medical record system. 
  • Maintain composure and efficiency in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. 
  • Special Skills 
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills. 
    • Ability to function effectively in a procedural care setting. 
    • Proficient in basic computer skills and nursing documentation. 
  • Minimum Requirements 
    • Experience: 2 years of ICU experience if no prior IR experience 
    • Education: Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school 
    • Certifications: 
      • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona 
      • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required (must be obtained upon completion of orientation if not already held) 
  • Preferred Requirements 

    • Experience:  
      • Previous experience in CVICU, ICU, or Emergency Room settings 
      • 1 year of acute care experience 
    • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) 
    • Certifications: Certification in a specialty area is a plus
