Job description

Medical Imaging Associates (MIA) is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist to join their physician-led practice in Idaho Falls and Pocatello, Idaho. This position offers a high-percentage IR-focused role within a collaborative, clinically sophisticated environment, supporting a broad range of interventional radiology service lines. The role provides opportunities for procedural diversity, clinical growth, and multidisciplinary collaboration within a stable, physician-driven workflow.

  • Regional radiology practice providing comprehensive imaging services across Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, and Utah

  • Offers full spectrum of diagnostic and interventional radiology services in both hospital and outpatient settings

  • Supported by six dedicated Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-percentage interventional radiology practice
  • Manage comprehensive IR service lines including interventional oncology, PAD, portal venous interventions, and outpatient vein services
  • Participate in advanced vascular imaging interpretation (CTA, MRA, vascular ultrasound)
  • Manage large vessel occlusion stroke thrombectomy (onsite training and experience offered)
  • Conduct outpatient clinic supporting complex consultation and follow-up
  • Collaborate with referring providers and subspecialty colleagues

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary plus productivity-based bonus (radiology-specific workload model similar to RVUs)
  • Sign-on bonus and financial relocation assistance
  • Salary range: $600,000-$800,000
  • Annual discretionary bonus eligibility
  • Partnership track: One-year for experienced physicians; two-year path for new graduates
  • Generous monthly stipend available for fellows in training

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

  • Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology
  • Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR)
  • Comfortable with diagnostic radiology as appropriate
  • Licensed or ability to obtain licensure in Idaho (additional state licensure supported as needed)
  • MQSA certification preferred but not required
