Fogg Filler is seeking a driven and talented Regional Sales Manager focused on gravity filling technologies in the flowable liquids and beverages sector to contribute to company success by developing leads, establishing productive customer relationships, building and maintaining sales agent relationships, and closing business to achieve targeted sales goals. While relational selling will always be relevant, Fogg Filler expects our Regional Sales Managers to be subject matter experts of our technology as well. Our sales team is designed to allow the SME to get deep in the technology and develop into an industry expert while concurrently assisting our customers to achieve their production goals. Successful candidates will demonstrate an entrepreneurial and positive attitude combined with the appropriate technical and interpersonal skills. They will be motivated self-starters, with a strong desire to achieve personal and professional growth. The sale manager will have a solution selling approach to customer projects and be comfortable working in a team selling environment in support of closing business.

Are you passionate about this work?

  • Executing an annual technology sales plan and supporting weekly sales meetings with completed sales call logs in salesforce CRM. Documenting all Opportunities, Companies, Contacts, and customer interactions in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Identifying and prioritizing sales opportunities and making sales calls on potential accounts and existing accounts.
  • Promptly following up on all leads.
  • Cold calling, generating leads and qualifying new potential accounts.
  • Penetrating all functional levels within potential accounts, existing accounts and new market segments. Developing business relationships with operations, maintenance, engineering, purchasing and management personnel within those accounts.
  • Collaborating with and supporting sales agents and distributors to generate leads and sell fillers.
  • Achieving or exceeding sales forecasts for machines and parts.
  • Following and complying with all Fogg Filler and ProMach commercial processes.
  • Using our value proposition-based sales approach in everyday sales processes.
  • Supporting and cooperating with other Regional Sales Managers regarding national account plans and business development projects in their assigned technology.
  • Managing or conducting sales efforts outside of assigned technology when necessary.
  • Foster warm hand-offs to Fogg Filler Aftermarket Department for service, retrofit and re-build opportunities.
  • Attends domestic and/or international trade shows.
  • Engages in ProMach brand awareness and collaboration with key brand partners.
  • Other duties as required to meet the needs of the customer.

  • Bachelor's degree in packaging or a technical field preferred, but not required.
  • 5+ years' experience in capital equipment sales.
  • Experience in the packaging industry.
  • Approaches difficult situations with confidence and tact.
  • Is an accomplished and polished presenter to a variety of audiences.
  • Has excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to produce compelling win-win presentations in a variety of media formats, including PowerPoint.
  • Is professional, ethical, detail oriented, and persuasive.
  • Demonstrated track record of building business and customer relationships.
  • Extensive domestic travel will be required, 50-75%.
  • Must work effectively with limited supervision.
  • Must be accountable, deadline sensitive and results oriented.
  • Must have a valid passport for international travel.
