Compensation

$75,000–$85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus bonus opportunities.

About the Role

The Regional Leader (RL) plays an essential role in the growth and success of Platinum Dental Services. Working closely with affiliated owner dentists, associate dentists, and office teams, the Regional Leader helps ensure assigned practices operate efficiently, achieve their goals, and deliver an exceptional experience for both patients and team members.

The selected candidate will complete a 3–6 month training and development period before assuming full responsibility for a region. During this time, you will gain hands-on experience with Platinum’s systems, expectations, leadership approach, and day-to-day dental practice operations to prepare you for success in the Regional Leader role.

As a Regional Leader, you will focus on growth, leadership, accountability, and operational excellence while helping practices meet and exceed goals established by Platinum Dental Services.

What You’ll Do
  • Partner with dentists and office leaders to drive practice growth and performance.
  • Coach, develop, and support office teams to achieve operational and financial goals.
  • Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor practice performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Support offices in improving systems, processes, and day-to-day operations.
  • Help teams understand and achieve key performance goals.
  • Provide hands-on leadership and problem-solving support across assigned practices.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of dental office operations and step in to support teams when needed.
  • Collaborate with Platinum leadership to implement company initiatives and best practices.
  • Build strong relationships with doctors and team members while promoting Platinum’s culture and values.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Daily Office Engagement: Be present in your region’s dental offices daily to coach, build, and train teams. 
  • Financial Performance: 
  • Set and review production and collections goals with the CFO, COO, and/or CEO. 
  • Conduct monthly P&L reviews with office leaders and owner doctors to drive performance improvements. 
  • Use DOMO (Platinum metrics dashboard) to identify opportunities for performance enhancements. 
  • Review and audit schedules to maximize efficiency and address scheduling issues. 
  • Monitor office collections, ARs, and same-day collections. 
  • Conduct morning huddles to prepare teams for daily opportunities. 
  • Training and Development: 
  • Oversee patient flow and ensure high-quality experiences at all touchpoints. 
  • Train staff on inbound and outbound phone calls, patient appointment scheduling, and asking for referrals. 
  • Ensure all patients have future appointments and outstanding balances are collected. 
  • Talent Management: 
  • Assess and oversee hiring and firing within the region. 
  • Assist in onboarding new doctors and office leaders. 
  • Report region’s performance weekly and be available to team members and Home Office. 
  • Attend team meetings as needed. 
  • Additional Responsibilities: 
  • Perform other duties as necessary as determined by the CEO and/or COO. 

Qualifications: 

  • Several years of experience in multi-location dental management preferred. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to train and delve into detailed operational issues. 
  • Sound judgment in decision-making, especially under pressure.
