Overview
Pay: $90,000 - $95,000 annually
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:45am - 5:00pm
Location: Region (Easton, Trexlertown, Danville, Hazelton, Bethlehem, Pottsville, Allentown, Temple)
Chord Specialty Dental Partners is searching for a highly motivated and results-oriented Regional Operations Manager. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the operational performance and management of multiple pediatric dental, orthodontics, and oral surgery clinics within a designated region. With direct oversight of clinics, this role ensures the efficient delivery of high-quality patient care, adherence to operational standards, and achievement of financial targets. The Regional Operations Manager collaborates closely with practice managers, clinical teams, and administrative staff to drive operational excellence and support the organization's strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to practice managers and clinic staff to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality patient care and service excellence across all clinics.
  • Implement and enforce standardized operational policies, procedures, and protocols to optimize efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operational performance, patient volume, revenue generation, and expense management, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans as needed.
  • Provide guidance on human resource related issues including assuring proper staffing levels, performance, and compensation management in conjunction with office manager and Practice Manager.
  • Visit each manager/office as needed to assess office dynamics, providing support and guidance when necessary.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to practice managers and clinic staff to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality patient care and service excellence across all clinics.
  • Implement and enforce standardized operational policies, procedures, and protocols to optimize efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operational performance, patient volume, revenue generation, and expense management, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans as needed.
  • Provide guidance on human resource related issues including assuring proper staffing levels, performance, and compensation management in conjunction with office manager and Practice Manager.
  • Visit each manager/office as needed to assess office dynamics, providing support and guidance when necessary.
  • Collaborate with practice managers and financial stakeholders to develop and manage annual operating budgets, capital expenditure plans, and revenue forecasts for each clinic within the region.
  • Utilize financial acumen to analyze profit and loss statements, identify trends, and develop strategies to improve financial performance and achieve EBITDA and revenue targets.
  • Implement cost control measures and operational efficiencies to maximize profitability while maintaining high-quality patient care standards.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor practice managers and clinic staff to build cohesive and high-performing teams capable of delivering exceptional patient experiences and meeting operational objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement professional development plans to support career growth and succession planning within the region.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, partnership, and continuous improvement across all clinics, promoting teamwork and communication among staff members.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for communication and coordination between clinics within the region and executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with other Regional Operations Managers and organizational leaders to share best practices, standardize processes, and drive alignment with company-wide initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards across all clinics within the region.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, related field degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of management experience in the dental field, with proven leadership experience overseeing multiple locations.
  • Solid command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Broad knowledge of P&L/multiple location management.
  • Knowledge of information systems.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze financial data and drive operational measures to achieve financial targets.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, drive operational excellence, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated region as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and practice management software platforms.
  • Cleared through any and all state specific background checks.
