As we continue to expand, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Operations Manager to help oversee operations, support team performance, and drive growth within one of our core divisions.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Operations to join our growing solar organization. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operational performance, driving process improvement, supporting cross-functional teams, and helping scale the business through strong execution and team development.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong operational experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple departments in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of performance and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support day-to-day operational activities across multiple teams and departments
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that improve efficiency, productivity, and overall performance
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Collaborate with leadership to support company initiatives, operational goals, and long-term planning
  • Create and maintain scalable processes, systems, and standard operating procedures (SOPs
  • Lead, mentor, and develop managers and team leaders through coaching, accountability, and performance management
  • Ensure teams are operating in alignment with company standards, expectations, and compliance requirements
  • Assist in resource planning, workforce management, and operational forecasting
  • Foster a positive, solutions-oriented culture focused on teamwork, growth, and continuous improvement
  • Manage operational challenges with professionalism, urgency, and strategic problem-solving 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leadership or operations management experience in a fast-paced or growth-focused environment
  • Strong ability to lead teams, improve processes, and manage organizational performance
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skill
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and departments simultaneously 
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and make data-driven decisions 
  • Proven ability to build accountability and develop high-performing teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred
  • Experience in solar is required
