Regional Manager – Multifamily Property Management

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Regional Manager to oversee the operational and financial performance of a multifamily property portfolio. The successful candidate will provide leadership to property managers and site teams while ensuring strong financial results, regulatory compliance, resident satisfaction, and property maintenance standards.

This position works closely with executive leadership and plays a key role in driving portfolio performance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, rent strategies, expense control, and monthly financial reviews.
  • Analyze operating statements and identify opportunities to improve NOI and property performance.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support property managers and site teams.
  • Oversee leasing, occupancy, resident retention, and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • Monitor maintenance operations, vendor performance, and capital improvement projects.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and operational audits.
  • Prepare executive-level reports and recommendations.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management of property personnel.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and portfolio performance.

Qualifications

Required

  • 7+ years of multifamily property management experience.
  • 5+ years of supervisory or regional management experience.
  • Experience managing multiple multifamily communities.
  • Strong budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Experience with AppFolio preferred or comparable property management software.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Preferred

  • CPM designation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Property Management, Marketing, Economics, or related field
