Essential duties and responsibilities 

The Regional Director (RD) is responsible for performance, growth and culture of all washes within an assigned region. This senior level leadership role drives operational excellence, revenue growth, profitability and team development while ensuring every wash delivers a consistent best in class guest experience. The RD is accountable for both near term operational performance and long-term sustainability, balancing daily wash-level execution with regional growth initiatives.
Leadership & People

  • Lead, mentor and develop Area Regional Managers (ARMs) and wash management teams to achieve business objectives and growth targets.

  • Recruit, develop and retain top operational leaders.

  • Partner with recruiting to build effective talent pipelines for all levels.

  • Implement and evolve succession planning to ensure readiness for growth.

  • Foster a culture of respect, recognition and accountability.

Operations

  • Deliver high-performing best in class operations across all sites in the region.

  • Drive consistent execution of EWC standards and operational philosophy.

  • Maintain full accountability for revenue, sales growth, profitability and Unlimited Wash Club performance.

  • Identify operational gaps, set clear priorities and celebrate success across the region.

Collaboration

  • Align regional marketing efforts with local opportunities, sponsorships and fundraisers.

  • Partner with HR to ensure policy adherence, resolve employee relations issues and enhance team member experience. 

  • Collaborate with facilities to ensure proactive maintenance and operational readiness.

  • Provide feedback on the effectiveness of programs, systems and tools.

  • Partner in the rollout of new operational concepts, technologies and processes.

  • Ensure alignment between wash-level execution and company-wide initiatives.

  • Partner with talent acquisition to direct recruiting support to meet hiring needs across the region.

Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of multi-unit leadership experience in the car wash, retail or related industry.

  • Proven success in operations management, P&L accountability and team leadership.


Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting in a vehicle.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.

  • Ability to bend, twist and kneel.

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds

  • Ability to travel extensively within assigned region.
